F1 25 PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

4K Performance

4K Performance

[Update – August 2nd 2025] Sapphire has sent their Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9060 XT Pulse graphics cards for games testing. This has allowed us to add AMD’s RDNA 4 GPUs to our recent games performance analysis articles. Data for these GPUs is now included below.

At 4K, it becomes clear that most gamers will need to use upscaling to achieve 60+ FPS framerates at Ultra High settings. Only the highest-end GPUs will be able to deliver 60+ FPS performance at native 4K using these settings.

At high settings, framerates are boosted by a huge degree. AMD’s RX 7900 XT sees its average framerate increase to over 100 FPS. Not bad for native 4K performance. That said, the loss of ray tracing is noticeable. However, if you are immersed in racing, it is hard to spot these finer details.
