4K Performance – Benchmark Results

At 4K, Gears Tactics is an incredibly demanding title, with only our RTX 2080 Ti managing to achieve close to 60FPS framerates within the game. Thankfully, turn-based tactics games can play well at 30FPS, as input latency isn’t a big deal in this style of game. Yes, animations etc will run smoother at 60, but 30 FPS is perfectly playable. 

Thankfully, just a few settings decreased are enough to get all of these graphics cards running at 30 FPS or higher, often much higher. Combine this with resolution scaling, and Gears Tactics will easily run at Faux-K 60 FPS on AMD’s RX 5700 or lower-end graphics cards and still look great.
