4K Performance – Benchmark Results
At 4K, only Nvidia’s RTX 2080 Ti is able to achieve solid 60 FPS framerates at all times, though most of the graphics cards we tested delivered a great gameplay experience using XCOM 2’s maximum settings.
Only Nvidia’s GTX 1060 and AMD’s RX 580 truly suffered at 4K, slipping below 30 FPS in many instances. Given XCOM’s turn-based nature, the game is more forgiving at low framerates than other titles, making dips below 60FPS tolerable. While high framerates look better when scrolling around the map, it can doesn’t do much to impact gameplay.
