1080p Performance – Benchmark Results

At 1080p, we can see that XCOM: Chimera Squad is an incredibly easy game to run at its maximum settings, discounting the game’s strange 99th percentile framerate dips. Even GPUs like the RX 580 and GTX 1060 can achieve 60+ FPS framerates with ease, which is great news for PC gamers with older hardware. 

What we can also see here is that XCOM: Chimera Squad is extremely CPU-limited, as our RTX 2080 Ti can barely outpace Nvidia’s RTX 2060, a graphics card that can cost 3-4x less than an RTX 2080 Ti. That said, this leaves us with a lot of headroom to aim for higher resolutions like 1440p and 4K.
