We can’t emphasise enough how important cool temperatures are to fast transfer speeds. It was true for the Gen 3 and Gen 4 NVMe drives, and is especially so for the Gen 5s. If only because their insane speeds we’ve seen cause serious heat. Both these drives hit the same peak temperature when we absolutely hammered them, which says a lot about the Sabrent Rocket 5 given it’s sans heatsink.
