Low temperatures are the cornerstone of smooth, consistent transfer rates. One of the main benefits of the Samsung 990 Evo is that by reducing its power draw and raw speed, Samsung have managed to keep the temperatures low. Heck it’s low when run passively, but if you give it a boost of airflow then you can really get those temperatures on the floor.
