CyberPowerPC UK Ultra XT3D System Review
Introduction and Specifications
Introduction
We’ve seen a lot of different system manufacturers come through the office here at OC3D and CyberPowerPC are no different. With the incredible success of AMD fresh in all our minds, and the sales charts, CyberPowerPC’s newest addition is the Ultra XT3D.
As you might be able to intimate , the XT3D is taking AMDs two biggest sellers and offering them in a completed whole. Weaponising the compatibility they have working in harmony to bring big gaming performance without sacrificing overall ability. If you’ve ever looked at the Steam hardware survey results, or sorted by best selling on your storefront of choice, you will come across the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. It’s right in the sweet spot for creative tasks, but where it really shines is the X3D part. The 3D V-Cache that has got AMD to the top of the sales charts. Anything that gives us free FPS has to be taken seriously, and the Ryzen X3D range now has years of data backing up that ability.
Graphics
With the CPU sorted, a good GPU is just as important, if not more so. Recently we’ve seen the new RDNA 4 cards hit the shelves, and AMD have really breathed new life into their Radeon range. Chiefly the ray-tracing performance in particular has been significantly enhanced. Also FSR, the granddaddy of super sampling, is now in its fourth generation. Supporting an every growing list of games whilst also improving performance on those titles already compatible, it’s clearly a rival for DLSS. Even the AMD Fluid Motion Frames technology, an AI generative tech akin to Frame Generation, has improved from it’s early version when we wouldn’t recommend it to our worst enemy.
Clearly having solved their CPU arm AMD have paid much attention to their GPU arm too, and now are ready to rock your world. That makes the CyberPowerPC Ultra XT3D a very attractive proposition. Boasting both the monster selling Ryzen 7 9800X3D and new AMD flagship RX 9070 XT graphics card, wrapped up in a gorgeous Lian Li case, on paper it is a star. Let’s look at it in the flesh.
