The RTX 3060 is designed to be excellent at 1080P gaming and good at 1440P. We tested at 1440 partly to show how close to 60 FPS it is even in the worst case scenario, but also to show off the difference between it and the RTX 3070 that was in the Topaz Elite. Only the very latest, high detail titles – BL3, Cyberpunk – would require some backing off of your settings to get over the 60 FPS mark even at 1440P, guaranteeing smooth frame rates if you’re gaming at 1080. It shows how little you have to spend to game smoothly with maximum detail in even the latest titles.
