Like all PCSpecialist systems you get all the parts that come in the individual hardware items included, just like you’d brought the components and built it yourself. Perfect for a while down the road when you need to expand.

The case is one of PCSpecialist’s own, but still has a good feature list with the right hand strip on the front being an ARGB affair, and you also get a tempered glass side window. It might not be the flashiest, heftiest case the world has ever seen but considering the price tag it’s way above what you could realistically expect.

Around the back – minor bit of plastic stuck under the screw aside – you can see that the ASUS TUF B560M-Plus gives you enough USB ports to be getting on with, whilst the inclusion of a WiFi card allows those of you who like to be wire free to still connect to the world.

Every PCSpecialist system has the foam insert packaging that keeps it all in place during transit. You might think that it’s a small thing, but in the dozens of systems we’ve reviewed not one of them has ever arrived in anything but pristine condition, nor has the removal of that foam insert every unplugged something or in any way affected the usability. It’s a spectacular packaging system they have and works flawlessly.

Just because it’s built do an exacting price target doesn’t mean that the build team at PCSpecialist don’t give you their full service. Every cable is neatly routed and tied. It’s a testament to the care and attention from the Wakefield firm.

The heart of the Lunar Spark is the ASUS TUF B560M-Plus and the outstanding Intel Core i5-11400 CPU. Six cores of high speed goodness will ensure that your GPU will never be starved for something to do. With world shortages there is no guarantee of the brand or type of RTX 3060 you might receive, but if you’re like our review system and get the white Zotac you’d be very pleased indeed. Quiet, cool, and very fast.
