PCSpecialist Momentum Elite Review

Obviously synthetic benchmarks are all well and good but most people buy systems to game. As always we have a selection of some games covering a few bases. Luckily we’re not playing them because Veilguard and Hogwarts in particular are awful. They are brilliant at putting a rig through the ringer, with Cyberpunk 2077 the stiffest test – and best game – here. We’ve got all the settings to the maximum and at a popular resolution of 1440. Yes 1080 still dominates charts, but most affordable monitors these days are 1440. Plus seeing how the Momentum Elite fares in the middle resolution lets you know what adjustments you’d need to make as you moved up and down resolution.

Generally just turn off ray-tracing at leave everything up would give you near 100 FPS average in everything. Remember, we’re on maximum settings here. If you planned to play things like Fortnite or the memetic Meccha Chameleon, you could easily play at 4K without breaking a sweat.
