Performance is so intertwined with temperatures that low numbers are important here. Obviously at a basic level hot = noisy and nobody wants that. But automatic hardware overclocking – boosting – is now so good that any thermal headroom ensures extra speed. We all like speed. With a relative lack of cool air into the case, and only a stock AMD cooler, the Momentum Elite quickly gets warm.
