CoolerMaster MasterAccessory LED Partition Plate Review
In Use
The Panel is powered by an unswitched SATA connection, so it comes on automatically when the PC is powered up. We think it would be nice to have the option to switch it off if you wanted to, but then, you could always mod a switch into the circuit yourself….Still, a switch would have been nice
With the lights down we get a bit of an idea as to how much of a glow the Partition plate gives. It’s always hard to give a true representation with a camera owing to how they interpret light, but suffice to say the whole of the interior is illuminated, but the GPU keep the upper half a little dimmer than the lower section.
Man did we have trouble getting the white balance right on this. This is about as good as we can get, but in reality there’s not a hint of pink just a good solid pillar box red.
Again, not pink at all, just a good solid red. The perfect colour for those with red team leanings me thinks???
Our favourite though has to be the white. My god was it stunning. Not a hint of blue, just good pure white light. The white also seemed to permeate the rest of the case better than the other colours and masked the PSU underneath better. If we’ve got one criticism of the Partition plate though it’s that it doesn’t cover the whole of the case false floor area.
