CoolerMaster MasterAccessory LED Partition Plate Review
In Use
The Panel is powered by an unswitched SATA connection, so it comes on automatically when the PC is powered up. Â We think it would be nice to have the option to switch it off if you wanted to, but then, you could always mod a switch into the circuit yourself….Still, a switch would have been nice
Â
With the lights down we get a bit of an idea as to how much of a glow the Partition plate gives. Â It’s always hard to give a true representation with a camera owing to how they interpret light, but suffice to say the whole of the interior is illuminated, but the GPU keep the upper half a little dimmer than the lower section.
Â
Man did we have trouble getting the white balance right on this. Â This is about as good as we can get, but in reality there’s not a hint of pink just a good solid pillar box red.Â
Â
Again, not pink at all, just a good solid red. Â The perfect colour for those with red team leanings me thinks???
Â
Our favourite though has to be the white. My god was it stunning. Â Not a hint of blue, just good pure white light. Â The white also seemed to permeate the rest of the case better than the other colours and masked the PSU underneath better. Â If we’ve got one criticism of the Partition plate though it’s that it doesn’t cover the whole of the case false floor area.
