Cougar Dark Blader G Review

Up Close:  Interior

The interior of the Blader G is largely similar to most cases in it’s class.  There’s a  large CPU cut out, plenty of cable management holes and a full length PSU shroud.  There is though, a little more to this case than meets the eye, as we’ll see when we dig deeper

Doesn’t like like much does it, but this picture imparts four very important pieces of information.  In no particular order we have the brushed Aluminium cable management shroud.  This shroud can in fact be removed in order to accommodate larger motherboards (see Tech-Spec).  Attached to it, but still viable if the shroud is removed is a GPU support.  At the front of the case we get a hint of the cases water cooling credentials, in this case mounts that will take up to 360mm or 280mm rads.  While on the subject of water cooling, the eagle eyed among you will have spotted a pump/res mount, with so many slots and grooves, we doubt there’s a combo on the planet that this chap can’t accept.

The rear of the case has a very generous eight horizontal, and two vertical vented PCI covers. 

Rear ventilation is provided by a pretty OEM looking 120mm fan, although it should be menioned that there are versions of this case that come with a rather nice RGB LED fan.
