Up Close:  Interior Rear

As with most modern cases, there’s a lot going on back here.  So having let you have a general gander, let’s dig down into the detail.  But before we do, let’s take a moment to admire the sheer size of that PSU area.  Theoretically it will accept PSUs up to 300mm in length, and if you can find one, fill your boots.  In practical terms, what this means is that you’re not going to have trouble turning the cabling round, or finding somewhere to stash any unwanted and un-manageable lengths.

One of the features that immediately attracted our attention is the Nexus 9P PWM fan controller hub.  This hub can manage up to nine PWM fans as well as a Pump/CPU fan and a CPU-Fan Header.  All of this is powdered by a provided SATA coupling direct to the 12v rail on the PSU, and has a max power output of 36W with a max current of 3A.

As with the Meshify, any 3.5″ devices you wish to attach are accommodated by means of three separate cages.  Each of these will also accept a 2.5″ drive as an alternative.  Although these are attached by a single thumb bolt, we found them to be a little on the tight side, hence the screw driver.
