NZXT H9 Flow RGB+ PC Case Review

Meet the NZXT H9 Flow

A BIG case with BIG airflow – NZXT’s H9 Flow has arrived!

NZXT has just unleashed its HUGE H9 Flow chassis, scaling up its popular H6 design (Review Here) to support the highest-end hardware configurations with insane levels of airflow.

While this is still classed as a “mid-tower” chassis, the H9 boasts support for up to two 420mm liquid cooling radiators. That’s a lot of liquid cooling potential. The H9 Flow can support the latest liquid cooling radiators, the largest motherboards, and the largest graphics cards. This is big case for big hardware.

NZXT’s H9 Flow will be available in black and white. Today, we will be looking at the white model of NZXT’s H9 Flow. Note that both models are available in three forms: the H9 Flow, the H9 Flow RGB, and the H9 Flow RGB+.

Pricing and Case Models

As mentioned above, the H9 Flow is available in three forms. The case will be available for $169.99 in its baseline configuration, or as premium RGB and RGB+ models. Below is the pricing for each of these models, and the fans that are included with each version.

  • NZXT H9 Flow – $169.99 – 3x F140Q (Case Version) fans and one F120Q (Case Version) rear fan
  • NZXT H9 Flow – $209.99 – 1x NZXT F420 RGB Core Single-Frame Fan and one F120Q (Case Version) fan
  • NZXT H9 Flow – $289.99 – 2x NZXT F420 RGB Core Single-Frame Fan, one F120 RGB Core (Case Version) fan, and a Control Hub

For our testing today, we will be looking at NZXT’s H9 Flow RGB+ PC case. This version ships with the most fans out of the box, giving this case the equivalent of six 140mm intake fans and one 120mm exhaust fan.

NZXT F420 RGB Core Fan Set

NZXT’s F420 RGB Core fan sets are effectively three 140mm fans within a single, unified frame. This fan set costs $89.99, pricing it similarly to a set of three premium RGB fans.

The benefits of NZXT’s RGB Core fan sets are obvious. Their unified frames are aesthetically pleasing. Furthermore, they simply cable management by using a single connector to power and illuminate three fans. Each corner of the fan set is rubberised to minimise noise, and each fan features an optimised blade design to deliver strong cooling characteristics at low noise levels.

As you can see below, NZXT has integrated these fan sets perfectly into its RGB and RGB+ H9 Flow cases.
