Final Overclock and Boost

By bumping the VCore back up to 1.225v, still 0.175v lower than stock, we end up with this setup, where the Ryzen 7 2700X is now running 4 GHz on all cores, at all times, with perfect stability. It shows how much more efficient this 2nd Generation of AMD CPUs are when compared to the first – by no means bad – iteration of the Zen architecture.

If you still want your system to boost then this setup of 1.225v allows the 2700X to run at 4 GHz the majority of the time, but as you can see it will also happily say its boosting up to 5 GHz when the need arises. This is just a glitch….. It made us wonder and get massively excited but it is just misreporting in the software.
