The Ryzen 9 3900X might have a monstrous 12 cores to play with but both the X470 and X570 can overclock this well too. The X470 was a tiny bit lower thanks to a 43.75 multiplier rather than the 44 of the X570 Crosshair VIII Hero, but anything around 4.4 GHz across 24 threads with 3600 MHz DDR4 is hardly going to leave you bemoaning a lack of performance.
