We’ve tested the full range of memory setups we tried out in AIDA64 and although the gaps between all the various configurations are small, it’s a general rule of thumb that, unsurprisingly perhaps, the X570 chipset just has the edge of the X470, whilst the extra cores on the Ryzen 9 3900X make a difference to the total bandwidth, particularly as the write speeds on the Ryzen 7 3700X aren’t much to write home about.
