We’ve always said that 3D Mark – and indeed all our 3D tests on motherboards and CPUs – are more about spotting a chink in the armour than expecting anything good because the GPU is so much the limiting factor. Well if that’s the case how come the ROG Rampage VI Extreme annihilates everything that’s come before huh? It’s not even close. If this was a boxing match the Rampage Extreme will be playing the part of Floyd Mayweather whilst everything else is Connor McGregor.
