There is no question that the latest Intel processors run hot. The 11^th generation did and the 12^th gen are no different. Sturdy cooling solutions, especially on the Core i9-12900K we’re using here, are a must. The, relatively, cooler results on the Strix-A are indicative that the multithread stuff isn’t being pushed to its very limits, as shown in our results.
