Clock Speeds

We primarily used the Z790-A Prime as the test bed for our DDR4 vs DDR5 review, which you can also read on these pages. Rather than push the 60A power stage too harshly with the demands of the Core i9-13900K, it is instead run at stock. Although, as you’ve seen so far in our coverage of the Intel 13th Generation launch, stock just means the CPU boosts itself, so it’s still a good demonstation of the motherboard’s prowess.
