What Paradox call “Grand Strategy” titles is, to those of us who play them, simply map painting. However, Stellaris is set in space and hasn’t got a map as such. The amount of number crunching that goes on behind the scenes is mind-blowing and thus it’s a perfect addition to our suite. We’re testing how long it takes to advance the game a full ten years, which is not an inconsiderable amount of stress on our test rigs.
