Our CPU temperature testing is a juxtaposition between best and worst case scenarios. We run a seriously heavyweight CPU cooler, which shows the best use case, and then torture the system for 30 minutes to get our peak reading. Otherwise known as the worst case scenario.
For the 14th Gen Intel we’ve carefully tweaked the voltage as out of the box they’re incredibly toasty. You absolutely must undervolt them to give your cooler a chance.
