SiSoft Sandra is similar to AIDA64 in that it is capable of maximising the available cores. Whilst, to some degree, you can overcome that core deficit between the six cores of the i7-8700K and the additional ones of the processors above it, eventually those extra cores tell. However, glance a little lower down the graph to compare the i7-8700K with the i7-7700K it replaces and the benefits of Intels roadmap become clear.
