ASUS ROG Rampage VI Extreme Encore Review

Sony Vegas

Such is the affordability and performance capabilities of the Sony Vegas platform it has rapidly grown in the market to be a genuine contender for the content creation weapon of choice. We use a complex 4K file to test the rendering speed.

Considering the core difference between the Ryzen Threadripper 3960X and the Intel Core i9-10980XE we were expecting the Intel to be a little further behind, especially as rendering is so intensive, but the extra clock speed from this 10th generation Core i9 really makes up the difference. As for the motherboards the Encore brackets the graph, with the Gigabyte Waterforce both a step ahead and behind in its stock and overclocked trim respectively.
