There are a lot of different approaches to the power stage of the Z890 motherboards. Clearly all of them are more than capable of running our Core Ultra 285K. Similarly none of them are insanely hot. But a few degrees can affect the thermal headroom for overclocking, or even just heat soak into your rig.
Obviously all six of today’s motherboard reviews show good thermals. Perhaps MSI need to investigate how ASUS do things though, as they’re consistently grouped together.
