MSI MPG Z890 Carbon WiFi Review

AIDA64

Whilst AIDA64 might be a synthetic benchmark in the strictest sense, we find it an invaluable way of testing the calculation performance of a system and the raw memory throughput. After all, Rendering, encoding and gaming benchmarks are usually industry standard ones and might be susceptible to driver finagling. AIDA64 is only interested in raw math horsepower. Although DDR5 is not known for low latency we also find their memory tests a useful indicator.

For those of you who’ve been around for a long time, you’ll note that AIDA64 no longer supports CPU Queen as a benchmark. Instead FinalWire have replaced that with a 64-bit Checkmate benchmark which scales far better with modern hardware.
