NZXT N9 X870E Review

Introduction

The NZXT N9 X870E is the latest is a long series of motherboards from the California based company. When we saw their first model nearly a decade ago it felt like they were stretching their company into uncharted territory. That risk paid off. Not only can they provide you with the cases, coolers and power supplies that might first spring to mind, but many other things too. Motherboards, obviously, as well as a host of peripherals from keyboards to audio.

Like all major companies they never rest on their laurels. As you may have seen from our news late last year there are new Intel and AMD motherboards hitting the streets. We’re starting with the AMD one, the N9 X870E. Primarily because AMD are currently selling more X3D processors than anyone is selling any processor. Their 3D V-Cache idea has come to dominate the market since it first appeared on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D.

Naturally then we know people are interested in what AMD has to offer. The latest chipset is always going to be the best. For the AMD AM5 socket the X870E is their flagship, and so it makes perfect sense for NZXT to have utilised this chipset for their newest flagship motherboard. If any of those words sound enticing, then you need to wait to see what this N9 looks like. It’s about as attractive as motherboards get.
