Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst PC Performance Review

Control Options

Mirror’s Edge on the PC is designed to be played with either a mouse and keyboard or a controller, with both options being equally viable. The mouse and keyboard controls can be re-binded to suit your preferences, but  sadly those who use a controller will only be able to use one of the game’s preset configurations. 

The found the mouse and keyboard controls for Mirror’s Edge to be very intuitive, though there was one edit that I did make to the control scheme during gameplay. I changed the down actions button to shift and move slow to left ctrl, as I found that I used the down actions button more often and it was much easier to reach on my keyboard. 

Aside from that small niggle the game controls very well with a mouse and keyboard, just like most first person games.
