So far it seems that at the stock speeds the MSI is around the same level of performance as other 290s we’ve looked at, but the more efficient cooling of the Twin Frozr really unleashes it when overclocked. It’s consistently near the top of the graphs so far, although in the harsh 3D Mark tests it’s obvious that the extra shaders of the 290X pay dividends.
