PowerColor Vega 64 Red Devil Review
Introduction
Sometimes a manufacturer has a model type which doesn’t get applied to absolutely everything they release, but instead is saved for those products particularly worthy of the high end treatment.
PowerColor is one such company who always reserve their Devil range – whether in Devil13 trim or Red Devil as we have today – for the premium AMD Radeon cards. With the recent release of the RX Vega GPU it was the perfect time for another take upon the Devil formula and that’s what we have up for review today. Given how well the Vega performed even in AMD form we’re interested as to whether the extra effort brings better results.
We have already covered the salient points in our preview which you can read here, if you haven’t already.
Up to speed? Good. Let’s see how it performs.
Technical Specifications
For those of you who haven’t clicked through our preview and just want the details, the specifications for the Devil are very similar to the regular AMD RX Vega, but that triple slot cooler cannot be ignored. With four possible display output types and three different BIOS modes – Silent, Standard and Overclock – there should be a solution that fits everyone’s needs.
