Sapphire RX 9060 XT Pulse Review
Introduction and Technical Specifications
Introduction
The Pulse is the MSRP card in the Sapphire RX 9060 XT range. This follows on from our launch day review of their flagship Nitro+ model. A card that was incredible value for money. The newest AMD card is certainly hitting the price performance sweet spot as the sales figures indicate.
If anything the number of cards flying off the shelves show that AMD have, perhaps, been correct in their move to cards designed for the every day gamer. Obviously Nvidia do too, but their top end is miles above anything offered on the RDNA 4 platform. But this focus on great performance and a low entry price has proven to be a roaring success. Sapphire have been beavering away for years supporting the Radeon cards. Even when it seemed like nobody was buying them. This loyalty has proven to be rewarded since AMD have turned their company around in recent years.
If the Nitro+ is the factory overclocked, bells and whistles card, then the RX 9060 XT Pulse is their MSRP card. Designed for people on tight budgets but who still want a quality product from a famous brand. Is there much difference between the heavily tinkered models and this? Are you better off paying the extra for a card like the Nitro, or is the Pulse more than good enough to keep you entertained without having to sell parts of your body? As always that’s what we’re here to discover, so let’s get down to business.
