Sapphire RX 9060 XT Pulse Review

We love the Pulse box art. It absolutely grabs your attention and refuses to let go. Maybe we’re just of an age where it reminds us of all the designs of our youth. Either way, top marks to Sapphire.
As the RX 9060 XT Pulse is a MSRP card it’s relatively shorn of expensive design touches. Instead the cooler is functional. Which we think is a wise move at this price point.
We get so used to cards that are triple slots thick and longer than an Adrien Brody acceptance speed. Relatively speaking the Pulse is tiny. Two fans, barely two slots. It’s diminutive and all the better for it.
Cards at this end of the market are often found as upgrade paths. This makes the inclusion of the standard 8 pin PCIe power connector a cornerstone of the RX 9060s popularity. Most older systems, or indeed value systems, won’t have a ATX 3 power supply. This makes the RX 9060 XT Pulse a simple swap in. Kudos.
Just because the card is short doesn’t mean you can’t still reap the benefits of a backplate cutout. Since their introduction a couple of years ago they’ve been helping our whole rig stay cool. Good ideas never go out of style.
Lastly at the business end of the Sapphire Pulse we find a single DisplayPort alongside a pair of HDMIs.
