Sapphire RX 9060 XT Pulse Review
Conclusion
Conclusion
Clearly the Sapphire RX 9060 XT Pulse is a card aimed very squarely at a particular segment of the market. Whilst the Nitro+ is out there showing off its ARGB lighting and all the bells and whistles that push the price up, the Pulse instead merrily just gets on with being a graphics card. This is not a bad thing.
Whenever it comes to fitting a product to a budget there are always going to be compromises made. Do you want to have a card which is flashy in your rig, but lacks good cooling or performance? Or would you rather every penny of the purchase price go towards performance? There is a famous triangle about products that says “Cheap, Good, Fast – You can only pick two”. When it comes to graphics cards that becomes “High Performance, Glitzy Aesthetics, Value For Money – Pick two”. Thankfully Sapphire have chosen wisely.
We don’t mean that the Pulse is an ugly card, merely that it’s all the cooler it needs to be and no more. Similarly the performance might not exactly be the highest, but it’s more than good enough. Additionally the money saved on factory overclocking and RGB lighting has been spent on giving a card that is as cool and energy efficient as any you’re likely to find. We’d always rather a card which quietly gets on with the job of delivering gorgeous visuals because you look at the screen more than in your case.
The Sapphire RX 9060 XT Pulse is the perfect choice for gamers on a budget. With enough performance to run anything at 1440P, and be cool, quiet and careful on your energy bill whilst doing it, it wins our OC3D Value For Money Award.
