With Cyberpunk 2077 being an Nvidia optimised title, we didn’t expect AMD’s Smart Access Memory/Resizable BAR feature to have a notable impact on the game’s performance. We were wrong.Â
Like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Cyberpunk 2077’s lower percentile framerates saw a larger performance boost than average framerates, boosting our 1080p 1st percentile framerates (from our GPU test scene) from 64.7 FPS to 74.2 FPS.
In Cyberpunk 2077, lower performance gains are seen at higher resolutions, with our 4K results benefitting less than our 1080p results. That said, the performance gains that we see here are worth taking note of. Â
