Corsair K65 Plus Review

Introduction

One area that we feel has massively changed in the technology world in recent years is that of input devices. Not that the basic function of a keyboard has changed. Rather that, unexpectedly, the things that need a keyboard have changed. Even the Xbox 360/Playstation 3 days didn’t really need alternative input options. Now consoles are so advanced that they have wholly replaced HTPCs. Further, the advent of streaming means most smart TVs have multiple streaming apps. Lastly your phone is sufficiently powerful to temporarily replace a computer for simple tasks.

All of which means that having a keyboard which works on your computer is nice. Having one that works on everything is glorious. Enter the Corsair K65 Plus Wireless 75% keyboard. As well as supporting PCs and Macs – par for the course – it has Bluetooth. Such is the ubiquity of that connection method that everything has Bluetooth these days. With support for anything newer than Bluetooth 4 the Corsair K65 Plus is extremely versatile. Just as happy on your TV or phone as it is plugged into your gaming rig.

With a TKL design, and a compact, 75% footprint, the Corsair K65 Plus is perfect for those of you with limited room. Or a small lap. A lack of need for the number pad is also a plus, but that’s true of all TKL keyboard formats. That wild connectivity isn’t all the K65 Plus has up its sleeve though. Let’s take a look.
