Steelseries 310 Rival and Sensei Review

Steelseries 310 Series - Rival and Sensei

Software

The Steelseries Engine software is easy to use and responsive. We particularly like the regular updates and resizable interface. Stretch it out, as in our first shot, and everything is on the one page. Should you have a smaller display then, as in our second shot, the angle snapping and polling rates – things you are less likely to change often – drop below a scroll bar whilst the CPU adjustment remains in place. The lighting can be adjusted separately between the scroll wheel and logo, as well as supporting a wide set of customisation options.

Macros support everything except the rare mouse pointer tracking and – more curiously – scroll wheel movements. However, you can combine mouse presses with keyboard commands.
