Direct-To-PSU CableMod 12VHWR options

There are two types of 12VHPWR cable from CableMod, first there are Direct-to-PSU cables, which plug in directly to your power supply, and 8-pin to 12VHPWR adaptors, which use multiple 8-pin power connectors to provide power to a single 12VHPWR connector.

Compatible PSUs

Direct-to-PSU 12VHPWR connectors plug in directly to your power supply, but not all power supplies use the same connector types. Many manufacturers use competing power cable standards, and some manufacturers don’t even offer users consistent cable options within their own brands. 

Today, we will be looking at some of CableMod’s 12VHPWR cables for Corsair and Cooler Master power supplies, each of which use different PSU-side connections. Below, we can see CableMod’s 12VHPWR cable for Corsair power supplies, which splits from a single 12VHPWR cable to four 8-pin PSU connectors. 

Below, we can see a 16-pin-to-16-pin 12VHPWR cable that can be used with MSI, Cooler Master, Seasonic, and ASUS power supplies that support the 12VHPWR standard. Before purchasing cables from CableMod, please make sure that your PSU is compatible with the cables that you order. Not all PSUs are the same.
