As you’ve seen before, the NZXT C1500 Platinum is larger than the three white models we’ve got in for review.

Although the screenprinting of the name is in the same colour as the white models, somehow it’s less clear on the black background.

It’s certainly easy to get inside if you need to clean the fan or remove some dust. Obviously don’t go poking about in power supplies unless you know what you’re doing. If you do, the NZXT PSU makes it simple to open up the grill.

The beefier model still has the Zero fan button, although in a different place to the white Gold efficiency PSUs.

You certainly get a full collection of cables with the C1500. By covering them all in the plastic pseudo-braid, you can tidy them away easily too.

There is no doubt that C1500 Platinum has plenty of connection options, including support for SLI. 1500W is more than enough for any setup you care to mention. There is no kill like overkill.

The kind of photo that sends other power supplies running and hiding. It’s the electronic equivalent of a photo of an iron maiden.
