Battlefield 6 Beta PC Performance Tested
1440p Performance
1440p Performance
At 1440p, 60+ FPS framerates remain possible on today’s mid-range hardware. Though at Ultra settings we can see 8GB GPUs struggle. Note how close the RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti’s 1st and 5th percentile framerates are. The RTX 3070 Ti has a much higher average framerate, but is its 8GB frame buffer pulling down its lower percentile framerates? Note that AMD’s RX 6700XT has much more stable frametimes, likely due to its larger 12GB frame buffer.
Overall, Sapphire’s RX 9060 XT appears to be an ideal GPU for 1440p gameplay in Battlefield 6. At 1440p Ultra settings, we get an average framerate of 74.9. With lowered settings or FSR, even higher framerates should be possible for those with high refresh rate monitors. If you want higher speeds without upscaling, AMD’s RX 9070 XT boosts average framerates to well over 100 FPS. Ideal for users of 144Hz 1440p monitors.
