Battlefield 6 Beta PC Performance Tested

4K Performance

4K Performance

As I have said before, it is refreshing to see a new game run this well on PC. Too many new games feel needlessly demanding, requiring high levels of upscaling to run well at high resolutions, even with high-end PC hardware. With Battlefield 6, we had several GPUs achieve average framerates of over 60 FPS at 4K Ultra settings without upscaling. Nice!

Sapphire’s RX 9070 XT Pulse was the best-performing GPU we tested. With an average framerate of 78.8 FPS, this GPU delivered us a strong 4K gaming experience. With some settings tweaking and/or upscaling, framerates well above 100 FPS are possible at 4K with this GPU. In Battlefield 6, gamers can enjoy high framerates and high screen resolutions without spending more than £1000 on a graphics card.

Even for GPUs like AMD’s RX 9060 XT 16GB, upscaling can give us 60+ FPS framerates on a 4K screen. Not bad for a £320 graphics card. Solid 4K performance is fairly accessible in Battlefield 6.
