Dark Souls: Remastered PC Performance Review

Dark Souls: Remastered PC Performance Review

1440p Benchmarks

What happens when we crank Dark Souls Remastered up to 1440p, a resolution that offers PC users a pixel count that is almost two times higher than 1080p? Well, nothing really, aside from the visual improvement that is.

Both our GTX 960 and R9 380 offered stable 60FPS framerates in our test areas, showcasing exactly how easy Dark Souls: Remastered can be player at resolutions of over 1080p. This version of Dark Souls runs a lot better than its predecessor, so much so that it is a shame that QLOC hasn’t used the performance of modern PC hardware to offer a few more visual improvements.
