Destiny 2 PC Performance Review

4K Benchmarks 

Moving up to 4K we can see exactly how demanding Destiny 2 can be, though interestingly we can also see that AMD’s RX Fury X continues to climb up our performance charts, so much so that it is approaching the same average framerate as the GTX 1080, albeit with some huge performance dips. 

AMD and Nvidia have both release GPU recommendations for 4K Destiny 2 gameplay, with Nvidia recommending a GTX 1080 Ti with a mixture of high and Highest settings and AMD recommending an RX Vega 64 at 4K High Settings, with both being set to achieve average framerates of over 60FPS. 

With the R9 Fury X performing so well at this resolution, it is pretty easy to believe that AMD’s newer RX Vega 64 would be able to surpass Nvidia’s GTX 1080 at these settings, though sadly we do not have any samples to hand to put this claim to the test.
