VRAM UsageÂ
When it comes to VRAM usage, Destiny 2 is rather minimalistic, never using more than 4GB of VRAM at any time during our testing. Those with 4GB or larger frame buffers can easily set the game’s texture detail to high without any worries, with the game easily performing well with 2GB GPUs which is great news for those who use low-end or older hardware.
When compared to the beta our VRAM use was higher at lower graphical settings, though this is likely due to the notable increase in resolutions for a lot of the game’s decals, though at the game’s highest settings we found the game’s VRAMÂ usage to be reduced, likely due to the lack of MSAA to eat up additional VRAM.Â
