Cyberpunk 2077 DLSS 3.5 Performance Comparison

In Cyberpunk 2077, at least right now, DLSS Ray Reconstruction is only available within the game when DLSS is enabled (but not DLAA), and then the game’s Ray Tracing Overdrive Preview mode is enabled. Ray Reconstruction cannot be used without DLSS Super Resolution enabled, at least within this version of Cyberpunk 2077 (Patch 2.0).

Below we have tested Nvidia’s RTX 2070 Super, RTX 3070 Ti, and RTX 4070 Ti graphics cards. All of these GPUs were tested using Cyberpunk 2077’s built-in benchmarking tool. Below, we can see that DLSS Ray Reconstruction has a positive performance impact on all three graphics cards. Even the performance gains delivered a minor in nature.

Sadly, DLSS ray reconstruction is not available outside of Cyberpunk 2077’s RT Overdrive mode, which means that the effect cannot be used with less taxing graphical settings. DLSS Ray Reconstruction is not available in Cyberpunk 2077’s Ray Tracing and Ray Tracing Ultra graphical presets.
