Halo: Campaign Evolved PC Performance Review

VRAM USE

VRAM Use

Halo: Campaign Evolved isn’t a VRAM hog. Assuming you are playing the game on a graphics card suitable for your chosen resolution, you should not run into VRAM issues. Even at Ultra settings at native 4K, the game uses less than 11GB of VRAM. At 1080p Ultra settings, it can use a little more than 8, though 8GB GPUs didn’t appear to run into memory-related issues.

Dropping from Ultra settings to High at 4K dropped VRAM use by 1.2GB. Add on upscaling and other settings, and it is hard to see many PC gamers having VRAM-related issues with Halo: Campaign Evolved. Not many gamers will be running this game at native 4K, and high settings has so few visual downsides that most gamers should use that preset by default.
