Halo: Campaign Evolved PC Performance Review

Preset Scaling

Preset Scaling – Low to Ultra

Halo: Campaign Evolved looks great at low settings. Even at low settings, lighting remains strong, and the game’s visuals are excellent. The only notable difference that users will spot is less vegetation and lower vegetation draw distances. In indoor environments, it is genuinely hard to tell the two presets apart. Well, low does run much faster.

While many PC gamers will want to push for Ultra settings, High settings deliver large performance gains with minimal downsides. Lower presets offer lower performance gains but still deliver strong visuals. Halo: Campaign Evolved isn’t a PC game that looks terrible at low settings. Halo Studios has optimised its graphical settings well. That said, some more scalability with these settings would be appreciated. That said, upscaling does help here.
