Hogwarts Legacy - Preset Scaling

For most players of Hogwarts Legacy, we recommend playing this game on high instead of ultra, as high can offer gamers a significant performance gain without a huge visual downgrade. That said, gamers with high-enough end hardware will likely be able to play this game at 60+ FPS using Ultra settings with DLSS or FSR 2.0 upscaling, assuming that they have a strong enough CPU.

For users of lower-end graphics cards, like AMD's RX 480 or Nvidia's GTX 1060 6GB, a mixture of Medium and low settings is requires alongside FSR 2.0 upscaling to achieve 60 FPS framerates with an output resolution of 1080p. The good news is that FSR 2 delivers great results at 1080p, and moving from 30 FPS to 60 FPS is worth the downsides of super resolution technologies.

How are you able to measure fps? Are you using an external tool like Fraps?Quote

Great work on this, OC3D team. First game to see a real benefit of using DLSS3.Quote

Very good work. Very throughout and detailed.

It's nice to find a game that really pushes hardware.

I am interested to see if AMDs 3D cache CPUs will significantly benefit this game since they will be able to store far more data on die rather than constantly fetch from memory.Quote

From what I've read a fair few people even with a 4090 are still seeing GPU usage dipping down to 80% which means DLSS3 isn't working like it should.Quote
