At 4K, Horizon: Forbidden West is a demanding PC game. Only our Radeon RX 7900 XT achieved a 60+ FPS average framerate at native 4K at max settings. Thankfully, setting FSR 2.2 to Quality will see this GPU’s average framerate shoot up to 85 FPS. With the right settings, this game would deliver an excellent 100ish FPS gaming experience on VRR 4K monitors.

With DLSS and the right settings adjustments most of the GPUs below can deliver a great 4K gaming experience. That’s great news for PC gamers, though native resolution purists will need some incredibly powerful hardware.
