At 4K, even Nvidia’s RTX 2080 Ti struggles to run Horizon Zero Dawn at its highest settings. Without lowered graphical settings, a 60FPS target at 4K is impossible to maintain on today’s hardware. That said, the right settings changes will enable much higher framerates without an insane performance cost. Our optimised settings will allow Horizon Zero Dawn to run at an average framerate of over 60 FPS at 4K on an RTX 2080 Ti. For a more stable 60 FPS framerate, lower settings or a 90% resolution scale is required.
